President Biden, joined by former President Bill Clinton and former First Lady Hillary Clinton, raised more than $8 million at a fundraiser in Virginia on Tuesday night.

The fundraiser was held at the home of former Virginia Governor Terry McCauliffe (D) and included 450 attendees. In three events since Friday, the campaign has raised more than $40 million, including $8 million, according to the campaign.

The fundraiser in the Old Dominion State with the Clintons follows a star-studded fundraiser in Hollywood with former President Obama last weekend that raised $30 million for Biden’s re-election bid.

During the event in Virginia, the president warned the group about another term with former President Trump in office.

“The next president could have possibly two or more Supreme Court justices in the next four years. That would mean that if Trump wins, there will be five or more…Supreme Court justices who could determine the future for decades to come,” Biden said, repeating a prediction he has made before.

He also called Trump a convicted felon, which became a staple of his campaign speeches.

The current president’s campaign has been inclined to call the former president a criminal, suggesting it believes reminding voters often enough will pay off at the polls in November as the party’s presumptive nominees inch closer to a rematch. .

“Folks, for the first time in American history, a former president is a convicted felon and is now running for president,” the president said.
