A new national poll of voting intentions for the White House carried out by Fox News showed an advantage of three percentage points for Joe Biden, current president and likely candidate for re-election in the United States.
This is the first time since October 2023 that Biden appears as the favorite in the dispute against former president Donald Trump. The change in poll results has been happening since May this year, when Trump appeared with 49% of voting intentions against Biden’s 48%. Today’s data shows Trump with 48%, while the Democrat appears with 50%.
According to Fox News, the Biden administration’s ratings regarding the economy have improved, but a number of other factors since the last May poll may have contributed to the shift in the current president’s favor.
