A crowd of Biden supporters gathered at Raleigh Durham Airport to greet the president upon his arrival.

Biden is expected to attend a campaign event in Raleigh before heading to New York in the afternoon, where he will speak at the opening ceremony of the Stonewall National Monument visitor center.
