“Do you think President Biden should drop out after his debate performance last night?” asked a reporter. Jeffries responded, “No.”

The leader repeatedly told the CNN who supports Biden and who does not understand that the president should step aside.

Jeffries added that he is waiting to hear from Biden in North Carolina this Friday (28), saying: “I will reserve comment on anything related to this moment, other than saying that I support the ticket.”

“I support the Democratic majority in the Senate. And, of course, we will do everything we need to do as House Democrats to win,” she added.

Panic in the Democratic Party

Jeffries’ comments come after Democrats panicked about Biden’s performance in the Senate debate. CNN, held on Thursday (27), with some party members questioning whether he should remain as a presidential candidate.

Campaign officials said Biden had a “slow start” to the debate, while sources noted that he has been battling a cold in recent days.
