Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, acknowledged this Friday (28) that Democratic President Joe Biden had a “bad” performance in the debate on CNN against Republican Donald Trump on Thursday (27), but maintained his support for Biden.
“Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know,” Obama said on X.

Former President Obama also evaluated current Biden’s performance in the debate CNN from last night:
“But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary people his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who speaks the truth; who knows right from wrong and will convey it directly to the American people – and someone who blatantly lies for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and that’s why there’s so much at stake in November,” Obama concluded, including a link to Biden’s campaign website.
Panic in the Democratic Party
Joe Biden’s performance was heavily criticized by experts and even members of the Democratic party.
Some in the group raised discussions about whether he should remain the party’s candidate in November’s US presidential election.
Biden appeared on stage with a weak, hesitant voice.
“Biden looks and sounds terrible. He is incoherent,” said a Democrat who worked in the Biden administration.
According to sources heard by CNN, he is recovering from a cold. Furthermore, it suffers from a reflux problem.
On the other hand, other sources heard by the CNN highlighted that Democratic leaders are not yet planning a direct intervention to pressure Biden to drop out of the electoral race
