Former President of the United States Donald Trump said on Saturday (6) that he thinks President Joe Biden should continue his presidential campaign amid calls from some Democrats for Biden to drop out.

“Dishonest Joe Biden must ignore his many critics and move forward, with enthusiasm and strength, with his powerful and far-reaching campaign,” Trump wrote in a sarcastic post on Truth Social.

Trump mocked Biden and made several baseless claims about the president’s policies and called Biden’s campaign “American Destruction.”

“He must be sharp, precise and forceful, just as he was in the Debate, in selling his Open Borders policies (where millions of people, including terrorist numbers, are allowed into our country, from prisons and mental institutions, entirely no control and no veto!), to end Social Security, Men playing in women’s sports, high taxes, high interest rates, encouraging the military, uncontrollable inflation, record crime, only electric vehicles, subservience to China and other countries, wars endless, putting America last, losing our dollar-based standard, and more. Yes, Sleepy Joe must continue his campaign of American Destruction and, MAKE CHINA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump’s post comes as he and his allies are trying to determine what the Democrat would actually be like for Trump’s campaign, and some Republicans believe the path back to the White House would likely be easier with Biden at the top of the ticket.

“Chaos is our friend,” said one person close to Trump.

As one Republican pollster put it, Trump “would rather go with the devil he knows than the devil he doesn’t know.”
