Trump will campaign in Grand Rapids, in the swing state of Michigan, alongside his vice president, Ohio senator JD Vance. It will be their first event together as an official Republican ticket for the Presidency.
Republican Party officials said during the party’s convention in Milwaukee this week that last Saturday’s flirtation with death had changed the candidate, and that when he gave his speech to accept the nomination on Thursday, he would call for national unity. .
Although Trump actually began his speech by calling for unity and a cure for the country’s divisions, the majority of his speech was made up of the familiar attacks and complaints against his opponents.
It is not known what kind of speech Trump will use this Saturday, but his most radical supporters usually go to such events to hear him deliver his already familiar somewhat inflammatory rhetoric.
Trump and Vance will take the stage in Grand Rapids with the Republican Party unified behind them after this week’s nominating convention.

Biden is facing growing calls from many elected officials in his own party to step aside as the party’s White House nominee and end his reelection bid, following his poor debate performance against Trump last month.
