AtlasIntel: for 45.8%, Biden should resign from the Presidency in favor of Kamala; 43.3% think not

After giving up his bid for re-election, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, is under pressure from political opponents to resign from office.

However, Biden stated that he will end his term at the head of the White House in January 2025.

An AtlasIntel survey, released this Saturday (27) in GPS CNNasked registered voters whether the US president should resign in favor of his vice president, Kamala Harris.

For 45.8% of people interviewed, Biden should resign from office. 43.3% understand that he should not leave the Presidency, while 10.9% do not know.

Methodology

The AtlasIntel Survey surveyed 1,980 registered voters in the United States between July 23 and 25, 2024.

The margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points, and the confidence level is 95%.

Furthermore, 35.2% of people interviewed stated that they are Democrats; 34.7%, Republicans; and 32.9% are independent voters.
