A middle-aged man claims he is often mistaken for being 30 years younger than his real age.

But Edson Brandão, 57, didn’t go under the knife to maintain his youthful appearance.

Instead, he credits his age-defying appearance to his exercise and skin care routine, following a healthy diet and maintaining a positive mindset.

Edson, born in Teresina, Piauí, Brazil, was born on February 26, 1967 and at age 57 is often confused with a 27-year-old.

Author, influencer and digital marketing entrepreneur, Edson said: “I feel full of energy. I don’t feel old at all. I can’t explain it, but I feel like I’m 30.”

Recent studies have shown that feeling younger can actually benefit your health, as it is associated with a longer and healthier life It is have a younger brain.

Edson said he has been interested in fitness and health for most of his life, but has had many ups and downs with his dedication to it.

But when he turned 40 everything changed, as he began to realize the importance of his health and the need to take it seriously.

Inspired by the exercise, nutrition and mental health routines he learned about on social media, he has since focused on trying to age as little as possible.

Edson has followed the same routine for 17 years, which, according to him, is responsible for his youthful appearance.

The author goes to the gym every day, where he lifts weights and does 40 minutes of cardio.

He also follows a healthy diet, making sure to eat plenty of fruits, vegetables and plenty of water.

Edson has a strict skin care routine, which includes anti-aging creams and a clay mask that he uses once a week.

He said, “I do this religiously every day. Anything is possible, no matter your age. You can always change your life for the better.”

Edson’s youthful appearance caused many people to mistake him for someone 30 years younger than his age.

Edson said: “Most people are always shocked when I tell them my age, they never believe me.

“Some people have said I look 23, 25 and 30, but I’m 57!”

Once, on a trip to Oslo, Norway, Edson said he was turned away from a nightclub because he didn’t have identification.

He faced a similar situation at an airport when passport control questioned the validity of his passport as he did not look his age.

Although he has many people who like and are inspired by his content, he also admits that he receives a lot of hate from people who don’t believe he is 57 years old.

He shared 10 tips he follows to maintain a youthful glow:

  5. Prioritize sleep: Try to get 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep every night to rejuvenate your body and promote cell regeneration.
  6. Embrace skincare: Establish a skin care routine adapted to your skin type to cleanse, hydrate and protect it.
  7. Practice stress management: Incorporate relaxation techniques like meditation or yoga to combat stress and promote overall well-being.

“I want to find natural ways to look young.

“Some people say I’m afraid of getting old, but I’m not.

“This is a natural process that we cannot avoid, but I will do my best to stay young.
