CONSUMERS have praised a viral kitchen essential that has flown off the shelves of a retail store.

With Aldi’s Ambiano 2-Cup Rice Cooker, all a consumer has to do is press a button and wait for perfectly cooked rice.

Consumers who have reviewed the product online say it takes just 25 minutes to make two cups of rice.

The retailer recommends washing the beans beforehand and adding the appropriate amount of water—the rest is easy.

For those with a smaller family, Aldi’s two-cup rice cooker is a great alternative to an expensive, bulky appliance.

“I got mine two weeks ago. I love the smaller size. It’s perfect for two people and works perfectly,” one shopper wrote on Facebook.

“It’s super small and makes 2 cups of rice perfectly, takes about 25 minutes,” echoed another.

In terms of cost, the product could not be more affordable with its price of US$12.99.

The customer can choose between two color options, both with an inner pot with a non-stick ceramic coating that is easy to clean.

The product also comes with a rice spoon and measuring cup for customer convenience.

Consumers who are on the fence about purchasing a rice cooker will not want to pass up this offer.

What is Aldi finds?

Aldi prides itself on offering great quality food at the lowest price. More than 90% of the store’s products are exclusive brands.

Aldi launches special, limited products called Aldi Finds.

These tend to be the items that consumers see all over social media and that Aldi superfans seek out every week.

The retailer offers products from several of its sections, including Household Goods, Home Essentials, Kitchen, Decor, and more.

Aldi Finds are released every Wednesday or Sunday, depending on the store. If you want a specific Aldi Find, the retailer recommends checking out Aldi’s website to find out when your local store restocks.

You can get Aldi Finds products delivered the same day in as little as an hour from stores near you using the Instacart app or website.

Target markets its product as the “ultimate mini rice cooker.”

Similar to Aldi’s, consumers just need to add water and press cook.

Both retailers claim your meal will be ready in under 25 minutes, however, Target’s rice cooker reportedly has a special function that ensures the food stays warm.

Still, shoppers said Aldi’s price is unbeatable and its compact design is perfect for a dorm room or apartment with limited space.

Meanwhile, parents are rushing to Dollar Tree to buy a ‘super cute’ $5 back-to-school item.

And Dollar Tree fans hail a fun family activity for $1.25 – the same product sells on Amazon for 8 times the price.
