A LUCKY lottery player’s simple decision helped him win an incredible $10 million jackpot.
A lottery winner in Kentucky matched a Powerball ticket and won extra thanks to a “double game.”
The player performed after a lucky draw on June 24th.
They bought the ticket at the Circle K in Crestwood, east of Louisville.
The lucky numbers were 1, 31, 33, 54, 60 and a Powerball number of 26.
He got it right enough for a top prize of $10 million.

DOUBLE TROUBLE
Double Play is available to Powerball players in some states.
For an extra cost, the game allows you to enter a second Powerball drawing.
This drawing doesn’t have a jackpot like the regular Powerball – instead, it has a top prize of $10 million.
The player tried out the new system just a few months after it became available in Kentucky.
“It popped up on the screen to add it and I thought, ‘I guess I’ll give it a try,’” said the winner Kentucky Lottery. “I’m really glad I did it.”
Winning was a shock, but life-changing.
“I sat there for about 10 minutes looking at the numbers and my ticket and I was right,” they said. “I was emotional and moved.
“Now I can retire,” they added.
The player chose to remain anonymous, a common decision for lottery winners.
The store received a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, the lottery said.
