A NEW food option is coming to some Walmart stores after the company struck a deal with a fast-food restaurant.

The megaretailer has partnered with Knuckies Hoagies, a Southern burger joint.

The giant sandwiches will soon be available at more Walmarts.

The young company is known for its long sandwiches, also known as hoagies, sandwiches or grinders.

Competitor Subway will now open 14 stores inside Walmarts.

No word yet on when locations will be able to begin serving.

NEW LEASE

Founded in 2019, the franchise now has just 6 locations, in Atlanta, Georgia.

The size is expected to almost triple after the agreement.

Although the franchise did not say where it would open stores, it did list several states that are scheduled to welcome new stores.

The company is looking for franchisees to operate Walmart stores.

Not everyone thinks it’s a great idea.

He claimed the stores would not be successful like others in the past.

McDonald’s used to operate in hundreds of Walmart locations, but pulled out during the pandemic.

SANDWICH NEWS

As it continues to grow, Knuckies is entering a crowded field of sandwich chains.

Subway recently updated its menu.

However, not everyone is enthusiastic, with some buyers looking for old favorites.

Meanwhile, some were shocked by the company’s pricing.

Jersey Mike’s has started using AI in place of waiters in some locations.

A Jimmy John’s employee recently revealed what he says is a secret ingredient.
