The steakhouse’s menu is constantly changing and offers dishes such as lamb chop fondue, charred red pepper soup, a cold seafood tower and a large selection of hand-cut prime USDA steaks, according to the restaurant. menu.

It also has a wide variety of sides, including lobster rolls, a long list of desserts, and homemade cocktails.

Schmidt said Elway’s was a place where people could come together and enjoy a meal while interacting with others.

“It has soul, it’s not like running to the grocery store or something like that, it’s going out for a reason, you go out to enjoy a good meal, but also to interact with other people,” he told the Fox affiliate. KDVR.

“We hear a lot of people are going to miss it and we’re going to miss them,” he said.

“It’s been family to us, and that’s the part about it – it’s not about closing to make money or anything like that, it’s about the family feeling.”

REOPENING?

Schmidt said he and the former football player have looked at nearby locations to reopen their steakhouse, but nearby locations “are simply not available at this time.”
