CHICK-FIL-A is bringing back a beloved milkshake after being off menus for more than a decade.
The chain confirmed the dessert’s return earlier this month, and some can’t believe it’s real.
Still, the Banana Pudding Milkshake is back at Chick-fil-A’s website as he prepares to return on August 26th.
Chick-fil-A touts the shake as “old-fashioned hand-spun” with its signature Icedream dessert, along with vanilla wafer cookie crumbs and sliced bananas.
Those who pick it up in person also get whipped cream and a cherry on top to finish off the deliciousness in the cup.
In total, the shake has 880 calories, 25 grams of fat, 155 grams of carbohydrates and 13 grams of protein.
Customers raved about the Banana Pudding Milkshake online, with some eagerly anticipating it while others worried that Chick-fil-A was playing what would be a cruel prank on them.
“Please don’t let this be a joke,” someone begged on Facebook wire about the historic return of the shake.
“Dear LAWD, this better be real. Don’t play with my heart like that,” added another.
“It’s the BEST milkshake they’ve ever made,” praised a third.
One customer added that they had “waited 10 years” for the day the Banana Pudding Milkshake would return.
PARTNER IN CRIME
Many Chick-fil-A customers were equally happy about the return of a classic summer milkshake in June for the 15th year in a row.
The Peach Milkshake has returned to menus across the country, featuring the signature Icedream dessert with peaches blended inside for a light, refreshing taste.
One customer said the Peach Milkshake was the only reason they went to their local Chick-fil-A when the announcement of the dessert’s return was made.
Another called the addition “phenomenal.”
Chick-fil-A has also made changes to the layout of its restaurants in some locations over the past year.
Chick-fil-A hours
At a minimum, Chick-fil-A locations are open between 6:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
However, some restaurants serve customers later.
Since opening in 1946, all Chick-fil-A locations have been closed on Sundays.
The founder chose to close on Sundays to allow employees to worship or rest.
All locations are also closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
DON’T DINNER ANYMORE
A Texas location opened this summer with a design that at least 30 others across the country already have, without a dining area.
Instead, Chick-fil-A’s are equipped with a larger two-lane drive-thru, walk-up ordering window and outdoor seating.
New York City also now features the first mobile order-only Chick-fil-A location on the Upper East Side.
Similar to the other design, there is no dining area and only accommodates mobile pickup and delivery with a small front of house and larger kitchen.
Chick-fil-A also brought customers a new way to earn rewards this summer if they can find the ‘cows.’
Sam’s Club also has an exact Chick-fil-A item that shoppers are raving about.
