A POWERBALL ticket turned a Michigan man into a millionaire.
Cain Bice is 31 years old and lives in Cass County, Michigan, and took home the $1 million jackpot after purchasing a Powerball ticket for the April 6 drawing.
Bice matched all five white balls on the ticket he purchased online from the Michigan Lottery.
As the pot surpassed $1 billion, the lucky winner said he bought more than he normally would.
Bice said he woke up after the draw to check his lottery account and saw a lot of zeros in his account balance.
“I rubbed my eyes thinking I was still dreaming. As soon as I realized I had actually won $1 million, I started screaming with excitement,” Bice told Michigan Lottery officials.

PLAY POWERBALL
Tickets cost $2 and are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Idaho and Montana are states where Powerball comes bundled with the Power Play game and costs $3 per ticket.
Players choose numbers from a game slip or can have the terminal choose them at random.
Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 pm ET.
Purchase cut-off times will likely vary a few hours before the draw depending on the jurisdiction of sale.
To play, choose five numbers between one and 69 for the white balls, then choose a number between one and 26 for the red Powerball.
Prizes are won by matching one of nine possible ways to win.
However, the big jackpot is won by matching all five white balls in any order, including the red Powerball.
The jackpot will increase until someone wins.
WAYS TO EARN

The Lottery will place self-service kiosks in 19 Walmart stores in Michigan.
Each machine will allow players to purchase instant and draw games and redeem Michigan Lottery coupons.
Lottery games can also be purchased at any of the other 10,500 stores throughout the state.
“Placing self-service lottery machines in Walmart stores will not only provide convenience to players, but will also help us achieve our goal of maximizing our contribution to the state’s School Aid Fund,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli .
