Americans Can Claim $400 Bosch Appliance Deal – The Six Model Numbers to Check

SEVERAL Bosch customers could receive settlement money as the company pays people for faulty appliance claims.

BSH Home Appliances agreed to pay $2 million to its customer to resolve claims that its Bosch appliances have defective parts that cause panel failure.

Only certain customers with certain products can claim money with proof of purchase.

Those who qualify receive up to $400 as part of the $2 million settlement to resolve the appliance class action lawsuit that had until last month to claim the money, according to Superior Class Shares.

The final approval hearing for the agreement is scheduled for June 13.

Class members have until September 3 to submit a request for Tier 1(a) benefits.

Those submitting a request for Tier 1(b) or Tier 2 benefits have until February 12, 2025.

Under the terms of the settlement, class members may receive one of three levels of benefits.

Level 1(a) benefits include reimbursement of up to $400 for documented direct costs related to previous display failures.

Level 1(b) benefits provide students with the same $400 refund for future showing failures.

Level 2 benefits include a three-year extended service plan involving replacement of failed VFD control panels by Bosch.

You have the right to make a claim if you purchased certain Bosch brand microwaves or ovens, purchased the product as part of a home purchase or renovation, or received it as a gift.

If you have a Bosch appliance with model numbers HBL5751UC, HBL8751UC, HBLP751UC, HMC80151UC, HMC80251UC, or HMC87151UC, you could be getting some well-deserved cash soon.

Ways customers can prove they qualify for the deal include providing model and serial numbers, receipts or checks proving they made the Bosch purchase.

Credit card statements, warranty records, photographs, repair communications or service invoices also serve as proof of purchase.

Other American consumers also found themselves on the receiving end of money due to a recent class action lawsuit.

Several residents were able to qualify for up to $5,000 in settlement money following a major data breach lawsuit in January 2022.

A cyberattack compromised patient names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, health insurance data and more, leaving a prosthetics and medical device company to pay $2.9 million.

Wright & Filipps sent a letter informing those affected that their data may have been compromised and they may be eligible for compensation.

The deadline to file a complaint was May 8.
