A final approval hearing is scheduled for July 17.
Data breach settlement history
The settlement was related to an alleged data breach in 2022.
Information allegedly belonging to nearly a thousand individuals was breached in a possible cyber attack.
Under the terms of the settlement, Americans who have been victims of fraud may be entitled to receive up to $4,750. But you have to demonstrate that you made the necessary moves to compensate for the losses.
Under the agreement, drivers have until July 1st to take the necessary measures.
Additionally, up to $500 can be claimed by Americans for losses such as credit card fees or travel expenses.
Huge Payout Available for Data Breach Settlement Claim
Drivers can claim a payout of up to $4,750 if they can prove they were affected by a data breach.
As proof that they have been affected, applicants can submit their bank statements.
According to Top Class Actions, Planet Nissan, a dealership in Nevada, consented to the settlement.
However, the company denied any misconduct.
