ALDI fans are desperate to get their hands on its new budget-friendly summer range, but some shoppers have already given up hope of getting lucky.
Many shoppers have criticized the discount grocery chain, claiming it doesn’t carry enough of the products it promotes and that they can rarely find the items in stores.
It all started when Aldi shared a carousel of their latest products on Instagram on Friday.
“Imagine yourself splurging a little and then realizing… you’re actually saving a lot,” wrote Aldi, encouraging customers to scroll through photos to see the store’s latest items.
One of the items – a coffee mug filled with colorful flowers – seemed like a great Mother’s Day gift option.
The mini flower pot is offered in two colors – pink and blue – and has “super mom” and “best mom ever” prints on the sides.
Several people shared their enthusiasm for the items.
“The cups with flowers,” one person commented, adding a heart-eyed emoji.
“Great discoveries,” said another person.
Others vented about not being able to find the item in the store.
One person wrote: “I was upset that this week’s items were released last week. Most of them…especially the Mother’s Day mugs.
“It’s hard for me to keep going to Aldi every day to look for these items, I almost have to be a stalker to get them.”
Another person wrote: “These ads make no sense. I have about 3 Aldi’s with me and every time I go I try to take advantage of these cool items.
“There’s never anything left. Always empty.”
Aldi included several other affordable finds in their post.
One item was a flower and pineapple shaped silicone ice cube tray.
Another item was a shelf full of brightly colored orchids for $12.99, which would also make a great Mother’s Day gift.
Aldi also shared a photo of its new $6.99 bug repellent fans and $4.99 juice sets.
Another item, fruit-themed drink dispensers for $12.99, will help usher in summer.
The store also featured a children’s swing for children three years and older in the post for $9.99 and multicolored potters for $12.99 each.
Many people planned to turn to Aldi to buy gifts this Mother’s Day.
In a separate publish on the company’s Instagram account, one mother wrote: “You can buy almost all of my Mother’s Day gifts at Aldi, even the Dino nuggets.”
