The Delaware Lottery is encouraging players to find their old tickets and check the numbers because a $50,000 Powerball game expires in a few months.

Purchased at Wawa #834 in Lewes, Delaware, winning ticket numbers were drawn on September 29, 2023.

Lottery prizes must be claimed within one year of the draw date, so the lucky winner only has four months to claim the money.

A second Powerball prize of $50,000 also remains unclaimed.

Purchased at Wawa #849 in Rehoboth, the numbers were drawn on April 7, 2024, giving the winner just under a year to advance.

GREAT VICTORY

An even bigger Powerball prize is up for grabs.

Drawn on May 6, 2024, a ticket worth $214.9 million was purchased at a Publix in Miami Shores, Florida.

The winner matched all numbers plus the Powerball number to win the jackpot.

The winning numbers were 7, 23, 24, 56 and 60 and the Powerball was 25.

Although the jackpot is $214.9 million, its cash value is $100.1 million, according to lottery officials.

The winner can choose annuity payments of $214.9 million or a lump sum of $100.1 million – both pre-tax options.

The annuity option involves an immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% per year.

ANOTHER PRIZE

You could be the winner of a third Powerball prize, drawn on April 29, 2024.

The $50,000 ticket was purchased at a Quick Mart convenience store in Somerset, New Jersey.

The lucky player matched four of the five numbers plus the Powerball.

The winning numbers were 11, 38, 47, 67 and 69 with a Powerball of 14.
