ADVICE on how to win the lottery has been given by a man who has won seven times.
Richard Lustig of Orlando, Florida has made over a million dollars and relies on these few tips.
The tips’ top tips include setting numbers and not overspending.
“The three things you can do to increase your chances of winning a lottery game is to choose your own numbers and always stick to them,” Lustig said. Unilad on Friday.
“Set a budget.
“And never spend rent or grocery money to play the lottery.”
Lustig also insists that joining a lottery group, just like Powerball winner Theodorus Struyck, is a great way to increase your chances of winning.
LOTTERY POOLS
Lottery pools allow you to get a slice of the winnings after betting on a ticket with several other people.
This makes the initial cost of purchasing lottery tickets cheaper, so you can have a better chance of winning.
However, you will have to share the winnings with everyone else involved.
Struyck, 65, presented himself as the winner of the $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot prize on March 15 and won the lottery.
He was the only person to publicly claim the award and it is currently unclear how many people won in the group.
Struyck is characterized as a dedicated family man from a small mountain town with a population of approximately 3,000.
Before winning the Powerball, the recent lottery winner refinanced his home, suggesting he may have faced financial challenges at that time.
Additionally, there have been cases where scammers have impersonated Struyck on social media platforms in an attempt to request personal information.

Lustig also recommends never using birthdays or anniversaries when choosing lottery numbers.
There can’t be that many birthdays or variations of birthdays and he says this lessens his chances.
“If you pick your own numbers and only play birthdays and anniversaries, you will be splitting the pot with 20 to 40 people,” Lustig said.
“If you spread the numbers all over the track, you will either be the only winner or share the race with just one or two people.”
The seven-time lottery winner also highlights how there is no magic answer to winning the lottery.
But following a consistent formula can help you beat certain odds.
