ALDI has brought back a beloved summer seasonal product and it’s expected to sell out quickly.
Vanilla Stroopwafel Ice Cream Sandwiches filled with Dulce De Leche sauce in the middle are back for a long time.
These ice cream sandwiches are the perfect summer treat for something sweet and cold.
“Get your hands on a box of these before they fly off the shelves…” Aldi said in an Instagram post.
“Thank us later.”
People flooded the comments with joy at the return of stroopwafels.
One shopper said: “The best thing ever.”
“They are delicious!!!
“I bought 4 boxes for my grandchildren.”
“Delicious,” added another.
“I got mine and I loved it!!!”
A third intervened: “I can confirm that they are fire.”
The return of stroopwafels comes as Aldi is also slashing prices on dozens of its products to save its customers a total of $100 million this summer.
Dave Rinaldo, president of ALDI US, wants customers to have funds to spend on fun times.
“ALDI is always looking for ways to help customers save money, but with more experts warning about persistent inflation,” Rinaldo said in a May 2 press release.
“The time was right to offer even deeper discounts on our already low prices for the second year in a row.
“We don’t want food prices to stop people from gathering with friends and family or spending time outdoors this season.”
Products that will be sold for less include Simply Nature chia seeds, Simply Nature organic avocado oil, seasonal pick: frozen blueberries, specially selected macarons and more.
The supermarket chain has also launched a new summer tote bag – with fans rushing to their local store to get their hands on one.
The cool accessory can store and keep multiple bottles of wine and other items that need to be refrigerated cool with its thermal interior.
The chain says the bags, which come in beige and blue, will be on sale all summer for $7.99.
“I was at Aldi yesterday but I think I need to go back,” one fan wrote on Aldi’s post.
“Shut up and take my money,” added another.
