A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 purchased at an unknown location in Arizona remains unclaimed, according to Powerball website.

Almost six months have passed since a lucky lottery player managed to win a Match 4 plus a Powerball.

Here are the winning numbers: 27-33-63-66-68-9.

The winner, who has not yet come forward to claim the money, purchased the ticket on November 25, 2023.

They only have until May 23, 2024 to take home their winnings.

If a grand prize goes unclaimed, the money will be returned to each participating state based on its contribution to that specific jackpot.

Unclaimed Powerball prizes in other categories are retained by the respective lottery jurisdiction and redistributed in accordance with state regulations.

In many states, these funds are used to support various good causes, the Powerball Unclaimed website states.

PLAYING POWERBALL

To play Powerball, start by selecting five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls.

Then choose a number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

Alternatively, you can opt for a quick pick, allowing the lottery machine to randomly select your numbers.

For an additional dollar, you can add the “Power Play” option, which multiplies all non-jackpot wins by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10.

Matching at least one number in the Powerball drawing guarantees a prize, but hitting the jackpot requires more than just one combination.

Powerball drawings are held three times a week and there are several ways to win prizes:

  • Match all five white balls and the Powerball to win the jackpot (odds: 1 in 292,201,338)
  • Match five white balls to win a $1 million prize (odds: 1 in 11,688,053.52)
  • Match four white balls and the Powerball for $50,000 (odds: 1 in 913,129.18)
  • Match four white balls for $100 (odds: 1 in 36,525.17)
  • Match three white balls and the Powerball for $100 (odds: 1 in 14,494.11)
  • Match three white balls for $7 (odds: 1 in 579.76)
  • Match two white balls and the Powerball for $7 (odds: 1 in 701.33)
  • Combine a white ball and Powerball for $4 (odds: 1 in 91.98)
  • Match only Powerball for $4 (odds: 1 in 38.32)
