Some customers can receive up to $500 if they have a certain old receipt to file this class action lawsuit against Walmart.

The lawsuit alleged that Walmart customers purchased certain “weighted products” for more than the lowest price displayed in the store.

Customers who purchased these items between October 19, 2018 and January 19, 2024 will be able to qualify for their share of a $45 million pot, according to the deal. website.

The maximum amount of money that applicants without proof of purchase can receive is $25 if they can attest that they purchased 101 items or more.

These amounts would be cash payments.

People should note that claims made without receipts are made under penalty of perjury.

This agreement only applies to Walmart shoppers in the United States and Puerto Rico.
