Loyal Costco shoppers seek out the store for its membership perks and deals on bulk items.

However, not everyone is happy with the recent changes made by the wholesaler.

Last April, a frustrated customer begged the store to “do better” after purchasing a rotisserie chicken.

“Get rid of those #horrible bags and bring back the rotisserie chicken containers,” she wrote in one publish on Facebook.

She went on to describe the bags as greasy, creating a problem that “causes the grease to spread to other items in the grocery cart and [her] hands.”

“Most of the bags in the hot box weren’t even sealed.”

She closed the post with a series of hashtags, asking Costco to bring the containers back, and said she is “not the only one.”

“Ralph’s did the same thing, but that’s why I came prepared and put the chicken in its own bag while taking it home,” another user wrote.

They also added that Sam’s Club uses containers, but “those things are still pretty greasy.”

They advised the other customer to place the package in a container or bag in the refrigerator.

‘The system is terribly broken,’ angers Costco member as essential service takes an hour – but customer has ‘quick fix’

“Stevie and I went to the chicken warmer and were shocked, as was another lady,” the original poster responded.

She even said she filled out a comment card while she was in the store.

“I’m glad I had a bag in the car because I didn’t want that all over my car,” she wrote. Containers of it were so cool now that we have those things.”

“Just eat there and throw the bones behind the cold box,” commented another user.

The US Sun reached out to Costco for comment.

COSTCO’S CRAZY RETURNS

While customers complain about product changes, others return items that their fellow shoppers find shocking.

One of Costco’s most popular perks is its very lenient return policy, and consumers are taking advantage of it.

An employee claimed to have seen a customer return “liquefied watermelon in a large black trash bag.”

“I had to bag it again to keep it from leaking,” they wrote.

Meanwhile, another customer returned a worn-out playset – they admitted they “shaked their heads a lot” but the warranty said three years.

And one buyer returned an entire turkey meal for 30 people for a full refund.
