TACO Bell is bringing two new menu items for fans, but some aren’t so sure how they feel about the offerings.

The fast food additions will be combined with an iconic snack that customers will be able to find in the grocery aisle.

In a unique partnership with Cheez-It, the chain created the Big Cheez-It Tostada and Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme just in time for summer, according to a Press release On thursday.

Both selections will be available to fans for a limited time starting June 6, but some can get early access to them starting now through their Taco Bell Rewards membership and mobile app.

Taco Bell originally tested the Big Cheez-It Tostada and Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme in 2022 at a single location.

The exclusive offer quickly caught the attention of fans and received an “extremely positive reaction,” according to the release.

The chain said it felt the Cheez-It-inspired menu items “brought something new to the table” and decided to move forward with a national introduction.

“We’re excited to launch this exciting partnership nationwide and offer fans a whole new way to experience the classic cheesy and crunchy flavors they love from Taco Bell and Cheez-It,” said Taco Bell’s global director of food innovation. Taco Bell, Liz Matthews.

Big Cheez-It Tostada and Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme feature a Cheez-It cookie that’s 16 times the normal size customers would find in a box they buy in store.

The Tostada is just $3.99 and comes with lettuce, tomato, low-fat sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and ground beef on top of a huge Cheez-It cracker.

The Crunchwrap Supreme variation comes with almost the same ingredients wrapped in the iconic hexagonal-shaped tortilla and Cheez-It replaces the Tostada shell inside.

There’s also nacho cheese instead of shredded cheddar cheese.

It costs $5.49 for interested customers.

While the prices are a slight increase from what they were during the brief 2022 testing period, there’s also a meal deal for the Cheez-It partnership.

FAN FRENZY

Dubbed the Big Cheez-It box, Taco Bell fans can pay $8.99 for a Big-Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme, a meaty five-layer burrito, Nacho Fries and a medium drink.

While the prospect of Big Cheez-It options is exciting for some fans, others said they would prefer other snacks to be brought back at Taco Bell.

This collaboration is not just about bringing together two iconic brands; it’s about harnessing fans’ spirit of innovation to create something truly larger than life.

Someone claimed the items were “overpriced and overpriced” in a Facebook thread.

“Just bring Mexi Melt back,” pleaded another.

“Just bring back the ORIGINAL Tostada. What is that?” a third asked.

SUMMER FREEZE?

For fans looking for something more at Taco Bell, they’re in luck as two drink variations will also be hitting the menu in June, an employee relayed to popular foodie Markie Devo (markie_devo).

Devo noted that the Strawberry Lemonade and Vanilla Creme Lemonade would arrive this month in a publish for Instagram.

Lemonade is a frozen drink similar to the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze.

Taco Bell has not yet officially confirmed the drink’s arrival.

Fans have also been debating the return of another popular item recently, with some vocalizing support and others calling it “trash.”

Others were raving about a new item that is “surprisingly crunchy” and pairs well with two sauces.
