Time is running out on millions of dollars in lottery prizes that have yet to be claimed by jackpot winners.

Washington State Lottery the referees are calling out the players to make sure they don’t get a big win.

Two jackpots worth approximately one million dollars went unclaimed on Always alive State, in addition to several prizes of US$ 10 thousand.

State lottery commissions hold millions of dollars in unclaimed prizes every year that are not withdrawn within the required time frame.

There are currently 16 main prizes that will go straight to the State coffers if the lucky ones don’t come forward.

Each unclaimed prize has its own deadline for withdrawal – exactly 180 days after the winning numbers are drawn in Washington.

Big prizes won on scratch cards can be redeemed within 180 after the end of the game series.

WHERE ARE THE WINNERS?

The largest unclaimed prize of $1 million was drawn during a Powerball game on March 23 in Puyallup, Washington, a small town about 35 miles south of Seattle.

The winning numbers for this draw were: 6-23-25-34-51 with a Powerball of 3.

The unknown winner doubled his prize with a Powerplay twice, according to lottery records.

The last day to claim this jackpot is September 19th.

Another major prize worth $825,000 also went unclaimed in the state.

That jackpot came from a Hit5 draw on May 31 with the winning numbers: 5-16-18-37-42.

The winner, whose ticket was purchased in Renton, about 11 miles southeast of Seattle, has until the Nov. 27 deadline to claim the prize.

UNCLAIMED MONEY EVERYWHERE

Washington isn’t the only state that has millions in unclaimed lottery money.

Several prizes were not awarded in Texas, where the largest unclaimed jackpot totals $3 million.

Texas Lottery officials confirmed that the Mega Millions big winner was rescued at a northwest Houston gas station.

Like Washington, Texas players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to get their winnings back.

And North Dakota lottery lovers were also asked to double-check their Mega Millions tickets.

A $40,000 pot has gone unclaimed since December 12, with four of the winning numbers 8-23-44-45-53 and a matching Powerball.

There is only about a week left for players to claim this money – the last day to withdraw is June 9th.
