A VERY lucky man has won the lottery not just once, but twice now.

John Robbins of North Carolina just won $100,000 on a scratch-off ticket.

After paying Uncle Sam, he took home just over $71,500 on June 3.

That’s a lot of money, but nothing compared to when Robbins won $2 million in May 2022 on another scratch-off.

And he even bought it from the same store.

“I was told lightning can’t strike twice,” Robbins said.

“But I think you can.”

This time, Robbins plans to use the money to give back to the community he calls home, he told the local NBC affiliate. WECT-TV.

“My dream is to make a difference in Wilmington,” Robbins said.

“I want to give back to the less fortunate people here. I want to do something to help change that.”

The odds of winning any lottery are about 1 in 300 million.

But the odds of winning the lottery twice are 283 billion to one, according to Business Insider.

This is significantly more challenging and very unlikely.

And surprisingly, Robbins isn’t the only one to achieve this unlikely victory.

Christine Wilson from Massachusetts won a million dollars twice in two weeks.

She took home two lump sum payments of $650,000 each.

An Arizona woman also won $2 million after winning $100 on scratch-off tickets during what she called “a winning streak.”

But one man, Stefan Mandel, has won the lottery more than 14 times in his life.

In fact, he won so much that fourteen international agencies, including the CIA and FBI, investigated Mandel for wrongdoing.

But he was finally cleared.

Mandel later declared bankruptcy in 1995, before spending the next decade running various investment schemes and almost ending up behind bars.

To this day, he has not revealed the exact algorithm he used to crack the lottery.

He said in 1992 that “this would be like Coca-Cola revealing its recipe.”
