A FURIOUS shopper claims she was charged more than $100 after ordering groceries online.
The customer said there were dozens of items on her receipt that she didn’t buy and criticized the chain for its response.
And she asked other shoppers to check their receipts.
Rebecca Hardin Price, from Kentuckyalleged that she had been overcharged by more than $140, for Facebook publish.
She swore she didn’t buy some of the items listed on her receipt.
The buyer also revealed that some supplies did not show up.
She called Kroger’s customer service team but seemed frustrated with the response.
After spending 40 minutes on the phone, the buyer was reportedly told she would be reimbursed in seven to 10 business days.
“I finished the delivery,” she swore.
“The moral of the story is to watch your recipes.”
The US Sun approached Kroger for comment.
Kroger offers subscription programs where shoppers can take advantage of free next-day delivery services.
The standard Kroger Boost option costs $59 per year, or shoppers can sign up for the premium version for $99 per year.
Buyers who choose the more expensive program can receive their items within two hours.
Kroger Boost customers can also save money when it comes to fuel and groceries.
Hardin Price revealed that he never had any problems using Walmart+ services.
What to do if you are overwhelmed
If you’re overcharged at a retailer, there are a few ways you can get your money back.
If you notice that you have been charged more than the advertised or published price, inform an employee or manager.
Be sure to keep your receipt to show the price difference.
As a buyer, you are entitled to the lowest advertised, published or quoted price offered by the store.
If you are charged more than the advertised, posted or quoted price, inform the seller immediately. If the seller cannot help, speak to the manager.
Stores must honor the published price, even if the price has expired.
You can also dispute charges with your bank if you notice something suspicious on your statement.

Walmart+ customers can get free delivery on orders over $35, as well as auto, Paramount+, and travel perks.
Drivers can save up to 10 cents per gallon at thousands of locations all over the country.

Walmart+ members can also take advantage of benefits from the network’s InHome delivery program.
Shoppers control where they want their purchases delivered.
They can leave items at the front door or even choose an employee to store purchases in the refrigerator.
Shoppers choose a four-hour delivery time for their items and receive a notification when their order is on its way.
The employee wears a body camera and starts recording when he arrives at the customer’s home.
Last month, Walmart bosses announced that InHome had been expanded to an additional 10 million homes, for Business thread.
Around 45 million homes are already covered by the service.

Target says there are “no delivery surcharges” and Target Circle deals are included. Shoppers can pay per delivery or become a Target Circle 360 member for unlimited deliveries.
