This lucky winner must act fast as they only have a few days to come forward and claim their money.

The $394,216 jackpot prize will expire on Monday, April 15, according to the NC Education Lottery Press release.

This ticket was purchased at Parkwood Convenience on Revere Road in Durham, North Carolina.

The lucky ticket was played for the October 17, 2023 draw.

This player chose the numbers 9, 11, 14, 30 and 34.

That night’s Carolina Cash 5 was $1.18 million, but three tickets matched all five drawing numbers.

This meant the jackpot was split into three parts, totaling almost $400,000 each.

North Carolina Education Lottery officials have urged all players to check their bills as the last day to claim the boost.

“Research wherever you keep your tickets and double-check that you have the winning ticket,” said Mark Michalko, executive director of the NC Education Lottery.

“We hope whoever purchased this ticket comes forward to claim their prize soon so we can celebrate their big win with them.”

Biggest Powerball Winners

Carolina Cash 5 winners have 180 days from the day of the draw to come forward and claim their money.

Winners of prizes worth more than $100,000 must claim their money in person at North Carolina Lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

To do this, potential winners must start a claim online and wait for a follow-up notification, which can take two to five days.

Other lottery players across the country have also been warned to check their tickets as other big prizes could soon expire.
