LOTTERY players are being urged to take a second look at their tickets as thousands of dollars could go unclaimed.
Missouri Lottery Officials listed an unclaimed Powerball ticket worth $50,000.
A player from Missouri has an unclaimed $50,000 Powerball ticket that was purchased at a gas station in Joplin, approximately 170 miles from Jefferson City.
The results showed the drawing numbers as 4, 27, 33, 41, 42 and a Powerball of 14.
Powerball draws take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Sales and cutoff times are about two hours before the live drawing at 11pm ET.
Missouri had the second-most Powerball winners in 2023, according to wisevoter. with.
In the first two months of 2024, 24 different people won $1 million or more playing the Missouri Lottery, reported WDAF.

Missouri Lottery players can redeem their tickets in two ways.
They can make an appointment to claim in person at one of the offices
They also have the option of mailing their ticket to headquarters.
The Missouri Lottery has offices in Jefferson City, as well as regional offices in Springfield, St. Louis and Kansas City.
