The ticket is from the March 23, 2024 draw.

The winner has until September 19, 2024 to claim the prize.

The winning Powerball prize numbers are 6, 23, 25, 34, 51 and Powerball 3.

Lottery officials said the winner needs to call the nearest lottery outlet to find out how to claim the prize.

HOW TO PLAY TO WIN

The odds of winning a million dollars in Powerball are one in almost 12 million, according to Powerball official website.

It costs $2 per game.

Players choose five numbers between one and 69 for the white balls and then a number between one and 26 for the red Powerball, according to the official rules.

There are nine different combinations or ways to win a prize.

To win the jackpot, you would have to match all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball.

The US Sun has some tips on the winners.

OTHER PRIZES REMAIN UNCLAIMED

There are several winners who are yet to claim their prizes.

A player who bought a ticket at a convenience store in Massachusetts has yet to claim the $1 million prize.

Meanwhile, a Colorado player has yet to claim the $500,000 Powerball prize.

These winners can use the mail prize claim system to receive their money.

Lottery officials, however, reminded them to sign the tickets before mailing them.

Processing claims by mail is still a safe and efficient option, officials said.

It is safe unless the mail is lost; in this case, authorities said it is out of their control.

“The Lottery is not responsible for any tickets lost in the mail, incorrectly delivered, or received beyond the last redemption date,” officials added.

How you choose to receive your prize money could net you less than you initially won, a lesson one Kroger shopper learned the hard way.
