The one-time payment option will give the winner the prize in a single payment, but this option is subject to high fees and taxes.

The winner must act fast as they only have 60 days from the draw date to claim the prize in one go, according to Illinois Lottery.

If the winner wants the annuity option, they will have one year from the date of the draw to claim it.

This player must do this at a claims center or by mail as the value is over $10,000.
