Two Powerball prizes worth $200,000 remain unclaimed in the same state – and were purchased within a few miles of each other

KEEP your eyes on those lottery tickets because you could be a winner.

If you were one of the two lucky people who purchased a Powerball lottery ticket in the Colorado area in March or April, find out your old numbers.

There are two Powerball prizes that have not yet been claimed in Colorado.

The first, drawn on March 30, is worth $150,000 and was purchased at a Circle K in Highlands Ranch, about 15 miles south of downtown Denver.

Here are the winning numbers to check: 12-13-33-50-52 and Powerball 23.

The second prize, worth $50,000, was purchased at a 7-Eleven store in Aurora, about 10 to 15 miles from Denver.

The numbers, drawn on April 10, are 6, 7, 12, 24, 36 and Powerball 15.

You have a limited time to claim, however.

CLAIM IN COLORADO

Colorado residents have 180 days from the time the winning numbers are drawn to claim the prize.

This rule applies to all lottery games, including Mega Millions and Powerball.

If the prize is not claimed by the deadline, the money will be sent to a beneficiary fund.

Unclaimed money will go to Great Outdoors Colorado, the Conservation Trust Fund and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

The Colorado Lottery website encourages winners of prizes valued at $599 or less to check with the retailer where they purchased the winning ticket to see if they will award them the prize.

Winners also have the option of mailing their signed ticket to Colorado Lottery, PO BOX 7, Pueblo, CO 81002.

A check will be mailed back to you within one to two weeks.

Those who have won more than $600 in a lottery game have several options for claiming their prize.

The first involves taking your winning ticket along with a government-issued ID to one of the state’s claims centers.

All you need is your name, phone number, email address and a photo of the front of your winning ticket.

Third, you can send a claim form along with your signed winning ticket to Colorado Lottery, PO BOX 7, Pueblo, CO 81002.

For the third option, your payment will be made within one to two weeks.

Meanwhile, a father and his son won a huge $1 million prize but lost half of their winnings.

And one Fantasy 5 player took home a whopping $446,571 after purchasing a 7-Eleven ticket.
