A SAM’S Club shopper has accused the wholesaler of taking her closer to the exit door after being blindsided by the chain’s membership rules.

Rival Costco has different trading hours for its members depending on their subscriptions.

During the week, Sam’s Club Plus subscribers can pick up their purchases earlier as they can use the warehouses two hours earlier than Americans who purchased a standard membership.

Plus members can access warehouses one hour early on Saturday.

Early shopping hours are just one of the perks available to Sam’s Club Plus members.

A standard subscription typically costs buyers $50 per year, while a Plus subscription costs $110.

Sometimes the network offers promotions. Shoppers can purchase a Sam’s Club membership for $20 as part of a special offer, but this offer expires today – July 7th.

But the difference in opening hours appears to have caught some shoppers off guard.

Some were even irritated by the fact that politics was pushing them closer to the exit door.

“Sam’s Club is going to make me cancel my membership!” Cami Hughes-Ross posted at Facebook.

“You can’t shop there before 10am if you’re not a plus member! WITH WHAT???”

Hughes-Ross concluded her post with three frowning face emojis.

‘Not enforced at all,’ says Sam’s Club fan, as workaround for little-known membership rule lets friends make purchases

Others pointed out that early trading hours are just one of the perks for Sam’s Club Plus members.

Plus members can shop early on holidays like Labor Day.

Membership also comes with curbside pickup and free shipping perks.

Curbside pickup is free for Plus members, but those with just the standard membership will have to shell out an extra four dollars.

Then a worker will bring the order and load it into the car.

US Sun reported how the chain has been criticized in recent weeks by shoppers who think it doesn’t get good value for money.
