The Social Security Administration will send payments on July 10 to eligible beneficiaries.

To receive payment on this date, beneficiaries must have been born in the first ten days of any month.

Those whose birthdays are between the 11th and 20th of any month will receive their payments on July 17th.

If you were born between the 21st and 31st of any month, your July payment will be scheduled for July 24th.

However, those who receive SSI or received benefits before May 1997 will not be eligible for this payment.

The average payout will be $1,537, but the amount will differ depending on work history and filing age.

SSDI benefits are only paid to those who have a qualifying disability.

There are two main factors that decide whether someone is eligible for such benefits.

The first is to have a qualifying medical condition that is classified under Social Security’s definition of disability.

Under this definition, the individual will not be able to work at the SGA level due to their medical condition.

Americans with Social Security numbers will receive a one-time payment of $4,500 – you don’t even have to be a victim of a data breach

They will not be able to work as they did previously or will adapt to another job due to their medical condition.

Lastly, the condition must have lasted or is expected to last at least a year or lead to death.

The second qualifying factor is that the individual must have worked long enough for Social Security and recently enough before filing a claim.

Eligible individuals must have paid sufficient payroll taxes.

In general, 40 credits of work are required to qualify, with 20 credits earned in the last decade.

Am I eligible for SSDI?

Eligibility:

You must have a qualifying disability and have earned sufficient work credits.

SSI recipients and those who received benefits before May 1997 will not be eligible for this payment.

Which payment date applies to me?

Born between 1st and 10th of any month = July 10th payment date

Born between 11th and 20th of any month = July 17th payment date

Born between 21st and 31st of any month = July 24th payment date

How much will I receive?

The payment amount depends on your work history and when you applied for benefits.

The average payout is $1,537.

However, the number of qualifying credits is based on age.

However, those who are not eligible or who are low-income SSDI recipients can also apply for Supplemental Security Income Payments and SNAP benefits.

It’s important to be aware of these and other benefits, especially as the Social Security Administration is expanding access to SSI on September 30.

SSI payments will depend on your income, your children’s income, and other benefits you receive.

The average SSI payment for beneficiaries ages 18 to 64 is $742, while those over age 665 receive about $574.

Meanwhile, food stamps and programs like SNAP can help low-income families make healthy choices at grocery stores.
