The Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken, Spicy Nacho Chicken and Cheese Garlic Steak Subs feature the newest toppings and sauces.

After a three-year hiatus, the sweet and spicy barbecue sauce returns to the country.

Features notes of smoked hickory, black pepper, red pepper and warm spices.

Both sauces are on the honey mustard chicken, which features roasted chicken topped with Monterey cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles.

The new cheddar cheese sauce is a smooth, creamy blend of sharp, American and Parmesan cheeses.

Pairs perfectly with Subway’s new Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel or drizzled on any sub. In May, the company launched other 30-centimeter snacks, such as a pretzel and a cookie.

The Spicy Nacho Chicken Sandwich features roasted chicken, scallions, red onion and new SubKrunch crispy bites, topped with creamy cheddar cheese sauce and sriracha.

Finally, the Cheesy Garlic Steak has sliced steak, green peppers, red onion and SubKrunch drizzled with roasted garlic aioli and cheddar cheese sauce.

Subway is the only place to find the new Doritos Sweet and Tangy BBQ chips. The new flavor is a twist on the classic with a new sweetness and spice blend.

“Subway’s new menu update is all about great taste at a great value and gives our guests new ways to take their sandwiches and snacks to the next level,” said Paul Fabre, Subway’s senior vice president of culinary innovation. Metro.

Subway price shock: from $5 feet to $9 subs

“These bold new bites offer even more compelling reasons to visit your local Subway restaurant this summer to discover your new favorite ride.”

MIXED REACTIONS

Some customers were excited to try the new toppings, especially the SubKrunch.

“I’ve never been so excited about crispy wonton sandwiches,” wrote food blogger Markie (@markie_devo).

One commenter who tried the toppings compared them to savory-tasting Rice Krispies cereal.

But some people expected other items to be returned instead of the barbecue sauce.

“They need to bring back the original sweet onion sauce. None of this sweet onion teriyaki nonsense,” restaurant Charisma commented on Markie’s post.

Summer of Subway Footlongs

Subway kicked off its summer celebration with the launch of new Footlong Sidekicks.

The Footlong Cookie returned and the Cinnabon Footlong Churro debuted alongside.

The new treat is served warm and topped with cinnamon sugar.

Diners can also order the Footlong Pretzel, which pairs with the new smoky honey mustard and cheddar cheese sauce.

Another person said they preferred an older version of the honey mustard sauce that Subway used to serve.

“I don’t like the smokiness. I got used to them changing the ranch to chili, but I never got used to the new honey mustard,” they wrote.

Others said the constant menu updates were just an attempt to stay relevant.

“Jersey Mike’s is better,” wrote another customer.

In related fast food news, McDonald’s fans are rushing to find the new limited edition Banana Split McFlurry.

Wingstop threatened to cut a popular menu item, but fans threatened to boycott the restaurant.
