This has led customers to speculate about what could replace the now-closed restaurant.

It is not known when the Denny’s store closed, but local media reported that the doors closed last week.

A note, shared by Levittown now, says: “Dear guest. Thank you for your patronage.

“This location has been closed permanently.”

Denny’s fans were encouraged to head to the chain’s outlet in Essington, Pennsylvania.

The closure comes just months after CFO Robert Verostek revealed 57 locations will close by 2023.

It marked a cut of 29 stores from the chain’s portfolio.

Bosses revealed that one of the reasons behind the shutdowns was linked to rising costs.

Bosses warned that up to 20 restaurants could close throughout 2024, for Forbes.

And executives said it now takes about $1.2 million for a Denny’s store to be profitable throughout the year.

“It was there all the time when I was a teenager in the 90s,” said another.

“I was there a few weeks ago,” reacted a third fan.
