TACO Bell fans think the company quietly downsized its cups after comparing orders from different days.

Fans love that Taco Bell consistently updates its menu with some rotating fan favorites.

But customers are calling out the burger joint for quietly updating the cups and making them smaller.

A Reddit user shared a photo of a medium-sized cup they received with an entrée next to one they had purchased two days earlier.

“I immediately knew something was wrong,” they he wroteas the cup of a few days before was higher than that of the same day.

“Why the change? So they can save a pint of soda?”

In the responses, someone claiming to be a Taco Bell employee said the store has slightly changed the sizes of many items, including meals.

The original poster stated that the new cup was 24 ounces, while the older one was 26 ounces.

“Such a strange way to cut costs. Those 2 ounces of sparkling water cost like a penny,” one person wrote.

“Taco Bell is really stepping up its inflation-busting game lately,” wrote another.

Reducing inflation is the supposed practice of companies that produce smaller products but charge the same price.

“The only way to combat this behavior is to not buy more.”

Several people said they stopped going to Taco Bell because the prices went up.

“I’m done with Taco Bell until they come to their senses. Absolutely insane,” one person wrote.

The US Sun reached out to Taco Bell to see if the store was updating its sizes.
