KROGER has promised a full investigation after a customer claimed he had been overcharged for his groceries four times.

The angry customer talked about the online experience.

“This is the fourth time as a Fry’s delivery customer that I have been overcharged, the Instacart people have added their groceries to my account,” the person said stated on the X while tagging Kroger, Instacart and Fry Food stores.

“And I was charged a delivery fee while I was a Boost member. I’m disgusted that my discounts weren’t.”

The supermarket’s customer service account responded quickly to the user.

“We are so sorry to hear this,” the post began.

“Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Send us a DM and provide your order number, the email address you used to place the order, and your rewards card/ALT ID number so we can help further more.”

The retailer also asked customers to “check the name on the bill.”

It is unknown whether the woman ever responded.

On Thursday, a customer called the chain after being overcharged for some items.

“I was in the potato chip aisle, and the stocker, who I don’t believe was an actual Kroger employee, was so rude and hateful,” the shopper stated in Facebook.

“I reached into his cart to grab a bag of chips and almost hit myself with a piece of cardboard as he passed by.

‘You better watch your receipt,’ says Kroger shopper after being ‘overcharged by $140’ — she faced 2-week wait for refund

“I said ‘sorry, excuse me’ and he just stood there.

Things only got worse when they reached the checkout line.

“So I got to the cashier and the older lady was [also] hateful, she had to check the price of something that was $13 and I had four of them, so [I was overcharged] $52,” the buyer continued.

What to do if you are overwhelmed

If you’re overcharged at a retailer, there are a few ways you can get your money back.

If you notice that you have been charged more than the advertised or published price, inform an employee or manager.

Be sure to keep your receipt to show the price difference.

As a buyer, you are entitled to the lowest advertised, published or quoted price offered by the store.

If you are charged more than the advertised, posted or quoted price, inform the seller immediately. If the seller cannot help, speak to the manager.

Stores must honor the published price, even if the price has expired.

You can also dispute charges with your bank if you notice something suspicious on your statement.

According to Los Angeles County Consumer and Business Affairs

According to the buyer, the woman “goes to call the supervisor and she answers the phone basically telling the entire front of the store that this lady (me) had items that were marked and she didn’t know what to do, in the most grumpy voice, hateful and angry of all time!”

The customer later stated that the woman’s rudeness went unnoticed by those behind her and who commented on her.

“They don’t act like that when the coach is there. It’s ridiculous,” concluded the post.

Walmart has also been criticized for overcharging its customers.

Earlier this month, the megastore was accused of overcharging a customer for delivery and blaming it on the weight of the purchase.

“Do not make collections or deliveries with @Walmart,” the angry social media user he wrote.

“My card was charged 2 1/2 times the price of my item and now I’m told they overcharged me for the weight when I picked it up and NOTHING was weighed.

“Now 7 to 10 days to receive the dollars that cost me too much,” she added.
