A former Busch Gardens member shared his complaints about the park’s participation in a publish on Facebook.

Chelsea Marie Fountain expressed her outrage after discovering she was charged $554 for a Busch Gardens membership she had canceled the previous year.

“Count the days Busch Gardens, I canceled my membership last year and they still charged me again,” she wrote.

Many echoed Chelsea’s sentiments, sharing their own negative experiences with the theme park’s membership and pricing practices.

One user commented: “I don’t really like them. I’ve been there many times and they want an arm and a leg for those dry chicken combinations that my kids won’t eat.

“They charge me $100 to rent a motorized wheelchair. I digress.”

The issue of unexpected charges and high prices is a common complaint among theme park goers.

In response to Chelsea’s post, several users recommended using prepaid cards for theme park memberships to avoid such financial pitfalls.

One user advised: “I use prepaid cards for any theme park memberships… learned a long time ago.”

“It’s not the victim’s fault, but girl, that’s why you use a prepaid card!” someone said.

The 60-year-old theme park attraction that was the first of its kind in the U.S.

“Put in just enough and let it cancel, but in a few dollars they come out of pocket.”

The post also fueled anxiety among others who recently canceled their subscriptions.

One concerned commenter shared: “This stresses me out! I canceled mine yesterday, received confirmation, but now I’m afraid they’ll still do the draft!”
