They matched the evening’s Double Play numbers, which were 18, 24, 43, 46 and 47, with a Powerball of 11.

Double Play is a complementary feature that allows lottery players in select jurisdictions a second chance to match their Powerball numbers in a separate drawing.

The anonymous winner purchased the ticket at a King Soopers grocery store in Arvada, about 12 miles from Denver.

In Colorado, players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

IN DISPUTE

Powerball is a national lottery game with unclaimed prizes across the country.

There is an unclaimed Powerball prize worth $1 million in New Jersey in the July 8 drawing.

The unknown winner purchased his ticket at a Family Food Mart in Hackettstown, about 35 miles from Morristown.

The winning numbers were 20, 22, 31, 33 and 45.

Another Powerball player in Lousiana has yet to claim the $50,000 prize.

The player won after matching four numbers from the January 20th draw.

The winning numbers were 16, 31, 34, 47 and 65, and the Powerball was 10.

Lottery officials announced that the ticket was purchased at Diaz Market in Mandeville, about 35 miles north of New Orleans, across Lake Pontchartrain.

HOW TO WIN POWERBALL

There are nine prizes that players can win in the Powerball game.

They win the grand prize if they match five white balls and the Powerball.

What is double play?

Powerball players can play their numbers twice in a separate Double Play drawing.

Double Play is an add-on feature that costs just $1.

It offers players a second chance to bet their numbers in a same-night draw with a top cash prize of $10 million.

The Double Play drawing is held after each Powerball drawing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

If they match just five white balls, they will win $1 million.

Players who match four white balls and the Powerball win $500,000.

The amount of prize money drops drastically after that.

If a player matches four white balls, he wins $100.

They can also win $100 by matching three white balls and the Powerball.

Players will take home $7 if they match three white balls or two white balls and the Powerball.

Finally, anyone who matches a ball and the Powerball or just the Powerball will win $4.

Recently, a Mega Millions player took home $1 million and said he would use the money to retire.

A lottery player shocked everyone when he won a second $50,000 jackpot.
