A SAM’S Club shopper praised the technology available to customers that makes the checkout process more convenient.

The member bragged about how this meant she wouldn’t have to stand in lines waiting for an employee to scan items.

Sam’s Club shoppers have a choice when purchasing products at warehouses across the country.

They can take their carts to a traditional checkout or scan items on the go.

When it comes to scan-and-go technology, there are only three steps for customers to follow.

They must ensure that the Sam’s Club app is loaded on their cell phones.

Secondly, they can use the built-in scanner to check the item or locate the product manually.

Sam’s Club members who use scan-and-go technology make payments in their app.

There is no need for the buyer to go to the checkout terminal.

Then, simply show the digital receipt to a worker.

Buyers expressed the benefits the use of this technology and observed how it speeds up the purchasing process.

Deonna Mercer posted at Facebook that using scan and go saved a long wait.

“The lines were legit, probably an hour long,” she said.

Some scan-and-go users recalled that other customers at the store thought they were stealing items.

Scan-and-go technology is also available to Walmart shoppers.

What is Walmart Scan and Go?

Walmart’s Scan and Go is designed to save shoppers time

Walmart’s Scan and Go system was created to help customers scan items as they shop, pay and check out, without waiting in long checkout lines.

The retailer outlines the new system to be implemented in a few easy steps:

  • Customers first need to download the Walmart app on their phone with location access enabled.
  • On the Store Mode home page, buyers must click on the Scan and Go option.
  • Customers can scan each item and place them in their carts as they shop.
  • At the end, they will be asked to view their cart to ensure the quantity in the app matches the quantity in their cart.
  • Shoppers will press “Check Out” and head to a self-checkout kiosk.
  • They will be asked to scan the QR code provided at the cash register and confirm their payment method.
  • Once the transaction is complete, shoppers can leave the store without any worries.

Fans of the checkout method have called on Costco to implement it in its warehouses.

Scan and go isn’t the only checkout method that Sam’s Club shoppers have been praising.

Sam’s Club warehouses have been or will be equipped with scanners that verify purchases.

The plans were revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, held earlier this year.

Scan-and-go users will be able to navigate the airport-like feature and won’t need to show their receipts.

“When we combine this technology with our Scan & Go shopping experience, it provides a nearly friction-free shopping experience,” Todd Garner, chief product officer at Sam’s Club, told the local NBC affiliate. WAVY TV.

The scanning machines have already been installed in 120 stores.

But bosses have plans to put them in all 600 warehouses before the end of the year.

Most buyers welcomed the change, but not all customers showed the same degree of enthusiasm.

Customers flagged some teething problems, particularly with issues relating to the bags they were apparently using.

Some shoppers were less than impressed and vowed they would return to Costco after testing Sam’s Club’s technology.
