TARGET shoppers are sharing their frustration after claiming they received the wrong item in the post.

Two TikTok users are opening up about their purchases from the Pop Star’s “Taylor-inspired” Halloween costume collection – Hyde & EEK! Boutique.

Both users purchased a costume that resembled Swift’s Reputation outfit, which cost $25.

The pop star’s real-life reputation costume consists of a black jumpsuit covered in red sequin snakes with her right arm and leg cut off.

Swift can be seen wearing the popular outfit during the Eras Tour when she showcases her Reputation ensemble.

From the user @Reemonay shared a clip of her experience after receiving the costume in the mail.

“Update, this is what they sent me,” the user said while holding up a black sequin bodysuit with no snakes or severed arms and legs.

“That’s what they sent to me and thousands of other people.

“And have the nerve to say that someone at Target uploaded the wrong image to the item on their website.

“They don’t even sell the reputation jumpsuit,” the user continued.

User @Reemonay felt duped after her purchase, claiming: “This is a scam” and said that although the retail giant was offering her money back, they couldn’t make up for her “heartbreak”.

Several TikTok users rushed to the video to share their thoughts on the disappointing revelation.

“See I was wondering if it was copyright but I was surprised it was online,” one user wrote.

The other night I was looking to order it for my daughter and it was the ONLY listing I couldn’t find for the pop star costumes,” a second commented.

“I was confused, but now it makes sense.”

“Fourth video I’ve seen like this,” said a third.

“Ohhhh no,” wrote a fourth user.

“This is so disappointing!! I’m sorry, friend,” commented a fifth.

This was not the only customer who was disappointed because Tiktok user @mrschelseabennett shared a clip of herself opening the costume.

“I ordered my girls some items from Target Halloween’s pop star collection,” the user said at the start of the video.

She revealed that she ordered the “reputation-themed” outfit and hoped she wouldn’t be disappointed after seeing other people receive the wrong costume.

“Yeah, definitely not like the picture,” the TikTok user said.

“This doesn’t look anything like the photo.”

The costume came with a microphone with a red snake attached, but none on the jumpsuit.

The Tiktok user decided not to try to make the onesie she received look like her real-life reputation and warned others about the purchase.

As of now, the item has been removed from Target’s website and is not part of the Pop Star Halloween Costume Collection – Hyde & EEK! Boutique.

The US Sun has reached out to Target for comment.
