Atlantic General Hospital, a healthcare facility in Maryland, was targeted by cybercrimes in 2023.

As a result, certain confidential information may have been leaked.

Some of those affected sued, claiming the hospital did not do enough to protect their data.

This includes health information and personal identifiers such as Social Security numbers.

The hospital denies all wrongdoing but reached a settlement to avoid the costs of further litigation.

The deadline to file a complaint is August 22, 2024.

WHO QUALIFIES

You may be eligible for a payment if AGH sends you a notification that your data may have been breached.

You must also be in the United States, in accordance with the settlement website.

Information leaked from employee files could trigger a class action payout.
