WALGREENS has revealed over 150 new products as part of its Nice! For You sub-brand.
But the latest offers did not translate into a new wave of enthusiasm for the pharmacy chain.
Walgreens is launching Nice! For You as part of its well-known supermarket brand, Nice!
The brand’s new section aims to help shoppers find food options that help support a healthier lifestyle, Walgreens announced.
All good! products align with the national brand’s standards for high-quality ingredients, Walgreens said, and Nice! For You products go further.
They do not include artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, synthetic colors or high-fructose corn syrup, according to the press release.
The new sub-brand also offers a wide variety of organic and gluten-free items.
Tracey Brown, executive vice president, president and chief customer officer at Walgreens, cited research from Statist about Americans’ food choices.
“According to a recent Statista survey, nearly half of all Americans are trying to make better food choices,” Brown said.
“The evolution of our Nice! brand is designed to deliver an efficient and highly relevant customer experience that meets your changing needs and preferences, while maintaining our commitment to providing high-quality products that taste great and incredible value.”
Cool! For You is a line of more than 150 products such as beef jerky, nuts and trail mixes, dried fruit, oats, frozen foods, coffee and beverages.
The brand also sells dozens of grocery, pantry and baking staples, according to the press release.
Another Cool! products include flavored sparkling water, honey roasted nuts, honey, butter, crackers, grated cheese and glasses, for Walgreens website.
Walgreens launched the well-known brand in 2011.
Cool! For You arrived 13 years later, in July 2024.

Even as Walgreens releases its latest product offerings, shoppers are already lashing out at the announcement.
A user X with almost 10,000 followers on the social media platform expressed her negative view of Nice! For you.
On July 16th, she linked to an article about the launch of Supermarket News It is posted“Walgreens Launches Healthy Private Label Line | Supermarket News – Damn, they’re trying anything and everything to stay alive, the debt is killing them.”
According to Market value of companiesWalgreens Boots Alliance’s financial report showed that the pharmacy chain’s total balance sheet debt was $32.67 billion as of May 2024.
However, Walgreens Boots Alliance continues to be one of the leading pharmacy chains nationally and globally.
Walgreens has also faced backlash from customers for other issues at the store, including anti-theft measures and price increases.
In July, a customer criticized the pharmacy chain for locking up items as part of an anti-theft measure.
Customers were also shocked by the high prices.
