The ticket has not been claimed so far, which means all players should check their numbers.

The Maryland Lottery revealed that the winning ticket was purchased at Quincy’s restaurant in Gaithersburg the day before the drawing.

The numbers are: 10, 17, 23, 50 and 67 with Mega Ball 3.

For the $1 million prize, the player matched all five numbers, but not the Mega Ball.

If they had done so, they would have won the estimated jackpot of $251 million.

Although the winner has not yet come forward, there was another beneficiary as a result of the winning ticket.

The restaurant on Quince Orchard Road received a lottery bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Meanwhile, the player has until January 2025 to redeem the money.

The Maryland Lottery gives winners 182 days from the drawing date to claim their money.

To do this, players must scan their tickets with a participating retailer or the Maryland Lottery app to reveal whether the ticket is a winner.

In this case, players are encouraged to sign the back of the winning ticket and keep it in a safe place.

The prize can then be collected by mail or in person at the lottery headquarters.

Anyone who does not redeem the prize before the 182-day deadline will lose the money, as it will be returned to the state through the lottery organization.

Two other Mega Millions players also won a $1 million prize during Friday’s drawing.

One was in Virginia and the other was in California.
