Halloween enthusiasts and Dollar Tree fanatics are raving about the discount retailer’s affordable decor.

A popular Dollar Tree item is the Creepy Plant, a $3 copy of Ashland’s Venus Flytrap Tabletop Décor.

Michaels estimates the Venus Flytrap will be in stock and available for purchase by August 16th.

The textured, bright green and purple plant is “fun and bright,” according to Michael’s website.

Savvy Shoppers Scoured Dollar Tree to Find Dumb Takedowns of Their Favorite Products

“Ooooh, they jumped,” a Reddit user he wrote.

“Dollar Tree has been my go-to for decorations for a long time. They have so many cute things!” another customer commented.

Dollar Tree’s spooky plants aren’t the only decorations now for sale in stores.

The discount chain is also selling $5 “bleeding” candles in various shapes, including skull, brain, bones and heart.

Meanwhile, Michaels only has one bloody candle in stock, shaped like a skull, for $16.99 — a 70% markup.

Other Dollar Tree Halloween decor items include skull garlands, in black, gold and off-white, drink dispensers that resemble pumpkins, and cauldrons and pillows shaped like ghosts, monsters and jack-o’-lanterns.

The best part is they are all available for $5 – or less.

“Okay, but candles are a MUST!!” one user commented.

“They have great decorations and the prices are good,” shared one shopper.

“People go crazy in big stores spending money. Good for them if they can afford it. I like looking for handcrafted items at cheap prices,” they added.

“The cauldron dispenser is a must,” wrote another customer.

“I buy most of my things at Dollar Tree and taking care of my yard looks fabulous!!!” another experienced shopper shared.

Even a former employee got in on the fun, offering some important advice to other shoppers.

“They usually have cool Halloween stuff and other decorations…and then within a week, all the stuff would be sold out,” shared a former Dollar Tree cashier.

“People tend to come in and shop the entire store, so I suggest trying to grab some of what you need before the people who fill up their carts and buy all the items in the Halloween section get there haha,” they added.

Dollar Tree Prices

Despite the store’s name, Dollar Tree has recently added items that cost more than $1 to its inventory.

Most items in the store cost no more than $1.25, but items in the Dollar Tree Plus section cost up to $5.

Dollar Tree introduced Plus aisles at 100 locations in 2019 as part of an effort to diversify its products.

As of 2021, Dollar Tree has added the items to more than 1,500 locations.

“We believe that testing additional pricing above $1 for Dollar Tree products will allow us, over time, to expand our assortments, introduce new products, and better serve our customers’ everyday needs,” President and CEO Michael Witynski said in a communicated. declaration.

“Our brand promise is that customers get great value for what they spend at Dollar Tree. We will continue to fiercely protect that promise, regardless of price.”

BUDGET BOOS

Instead of shelling out more than $29.50 for just one Skeleton champagne glass from Pottery Barn, savvy shoppers are getting three plastic glasses from Dollar Tree.

The discount chain is selling a set of three Halloween-themed tumblers for just $1.25, saving customers nearly 96% — and giving customers two additional tumblers.

Shoppers shared their thoughts on the decorative cups on social media, praising the price, quality and party potential.

“I bought several. It would be fun for a party,” shared one customer.

“I bought twenty of them as centerpieces for a party,” commented another shopper.

PARTY DISHES

Dollar Tree doesn’t just sell Halloween decor — it also has a variety of items for sale, from housewares to party essentials.

Whether you’re hosting a ghastly get-together just in time for Halloween or just spending a night cooking at home, you might want to consider purchasing another viral dupe.

Decorate your dining table with a set of Royal Norfolk stoneware dinner plates, on sale at Dollar Tree for just $1.25 per plate.

The plates are eerily reminiscent of Le Creuset Vancouver dinner plates sold at Williams-Sonoma.

The Williams-Sonoma option, which comes in a four-pack, will cost shoppers $80, or $20 per dish.

Comparatively, Dollar Tree shoppers could buy 64 plates for the same price as a set of four from Williams-Sonoma.
