AMAZON Fire TV fans can instantly enhance their streaming experience by limiting the amount of data their devices consume.
Image issues are not unique as different factors can affect network quality and speed. However, there is a trick that all Fire TV users can try.
The key is in the Data Monitoring feature, which is located in Preferences, in the Settings menu. The tool tracks the amount of data your apps consume.
It is enabled by default, but you can disable it by requesting a new menu to appear. Select Set Video Quality and choose between Good, Better, and Best.
If you choose to leave Data Monitoring turned on, make sure the video quality is set to Best.

You may want to reduce the amount of data your device consumes by limiting other characteristics.
For starters, you can turn off the autoplay settings for featured content, which gives you an idea of what’s streaming on your home screen.
Select Preferences from the Settings menu and go to Featured Content.
If Allow video autoplay and Allow audio autoplay are turned on, turn them off.
Another strategy is to disable Internet-based advertisements. Go to Preferences once again and select Privacy Settings. Scroll down and tap Interest-Based Ads to turn it off.
You can also disable automatic updates – as your device continually checks for updates, this consumes data and processing power.
Open the Settings menu and navigate to Apps. Select Appstore and tap Automatic Updates to turn them off.
If your device continues to be slow, there are other steps You can take it.
For example, try deleting applications of your Fire Stick as they can take up space and cause the device to lag.
Make sure your device is fully updated, which will also fix bugs and security vulnerabilities.
Restarting your Fire Stick may resolve minor issues.
Unplug your device and wait a few seconds before plugging it back in, or restart it manually from My Fire TV in Settings.
As a last resort, you might consider restarting your Fire Stick.
This will revert the device to factory settings, clearing any applications and channels you have downloaded.
This is especially useful if you encounter recurring errors, which indicate corrupted data or a software failure.
