Images and details of the Meta-branded virtual reality glasses appear to have been published earlier – weeks before the official launch date.

The Meta Quest 3S headset is rumored to launch at a special event in September.
Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg is expected to show off the high-tech specs at Meta Connect, which takes place in California on September 25-26.

This suggests it could offer a colorful Passthrough mode that lets you see virtual objects overlaid on a view of the real world around you.
The headset also appears to borrow the bracelet style (and overall rustic design) of the Quest 3.
Just like the Quest 3, the Quest 3S is expected to let you enter the virtual world of Mark Zuckerberg’s metaverse.
This allows you to play games, visit friends, teleport to strange and distant locations, and even work virtually inside the headset.
