‘Plus great value,’ say Best Buy shoppers as $429 laptop dropped to $229 with ‘Xbox freebie’ subscription included

A TOP-BRAND laptop has had its price reduced by almost half.

Best Buy is selling an Asus notebook for well below the regular price of $429.99.

The new Asus Vivobook 14-inch laptop markup is now $229.99.

That’s a generous savings of $200 – equivalent to just under 47% of the listing price.

The laptop comes with a $29.99 Trend Micro Internet Security package as standard, and that’s not all.

You can also redeem a one-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

This gives you access to a giant library of video games that you can play on your new Windows laptop (and your Xbox if you have one).

The laptop characteristics a 14-inch Full HD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) that offers 250 nits of brightness.

It is powered by an Intel Core i3-1215U processor clocked at 3.3GHz, as well as 8GB of RAM.

There is 128 GB of SSD storage and a promised battery life of 10 hours.

The 2024 laptop has a single HDMI port and comes in Quiet Blue color option.

The laptop only has three reviews on Best Buy, but they are generally positive.

Two were five-star reviews, one of which described it as “beyond excellent value for money“.

The other said it had a “perfect” screen size, noting: “Great laptop. Easy to use and learn. I liked the size.”

And the third analysis gave it three stars, complaining about the lack of keyboard lighting.

Two of the three reviews noted that they would “recommend to a friend.”

And all three have Best Buy’s “Verified Buyer” badge.
